The Approval Lens:
How schools actually assess external providers
Schools & nurseries don’t approve based on fun and enjoyment. They assess alignment, safety, sustainability, and fit. You’ll learn what they are really evaluating and how to meet that criteria.
Offer Structure:
How to present your provision so it makes sense internally
This is about structuring your offer so it fits naturally into school or nursery systems, priorities, and planning cycles - making approval from decision-makers feel easy.
Curriculum & Leadership Alignment:
Present your provision so it makes sense to SLT
Karen Stanley will share how leadership teams evaluate provision, what builds trust, and what makes an offer feel reliable enough to approve.

By the end of my first 6 months I had landed 2 school annual contracts totalling £8k. I also secured an after school club annual contract. It more than covered the investment of the academy.
And it just went from strength to strength. I currently have 4 school annual contracts, one 12 week contract, 2 annual nursery contracts and from this I build around it to add one off workshops. I have a strategy! And because of this strategy I can save time.
Cerys' extensive knowledge on working with schools has helped me think differently and I feel like a businesswoman since joining the academy.
Adding after school clubs in primary schools to my community drama classes has allowed me to leave my part-time top-up job! I billed an extra 30k in the first year!
The Academy has helped me overcome mindset blocks about building a team and supported me through the process, making the sales process feel less icky and meeting some lovely friends along the way.
Now I am working on getting more daytime work in schools, too, and I have a great formula that I can apply over and over again. I just sent out my free demo email following this formula to schools this week and have had four bookings
Cerys is a huge advocate of children’s wellbeing and welfare through extra curricular activities like Pudding and Pie.
Cerys has an academy that helps support and encourage people like me reach out to more children in schools and nurseries.
Her wealth of knowledge and experience is second to none and if you are working within education and haven’t connected either her I really recommend you do!!
I started off by teaching 7-8 classes a week and now we are teaching 45 classes a week. Great progress but I'm on a MISSION to reach even more children.
Thank you Cerys from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me and all you do for so many others.
When I started, I struggled to get my single little club known but since joining ASA a year ago and dedicating time to getting into schools I now run 10 clubs a week and have taken on a member of staff to run some of the classes.
We have regular after school clubs in 4 schools and have had contracts to deliver curricular sessions in 5 more, which has meant that my wife has been able to also join the business.
The business has become really well known in the local area due in large part to our exposure in schools, where we've built some great relationships and because of our regular visits into schools, our after school clubs and holiday camps are also really well subscribed. As a result, we're looking to take on more staff to fill the waiting list of schools on our books.
